MARIO WILCOX

a deep-seated commitment to supporting mental health and well-being. My own experiences in the Child Welfare System ignited a passion to make a positive impact in the lives of others facing similar challenges.

Studying Sociology at Wagner College and later pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University provided me with the knowledge and skills to understand human behavior and societal influences. Then, I founded Wilcox Wellness to offer a range of services aimed at helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys.  Mario’s  goal is simple: to provide the tools and support necessary for individuals to secure, maintain, and nurture their peace of mind. Through a holistic approach, I aim to empower others to “Master the Art of Living” and find fulfillment in their lives.

Geoffrey “Geo” Edwards

Geo Edwards, is an educator, board certified art therapist, and licensed acupuncturist whose practice integrates art therapy, acupuncture, and herbal medicine. Geo started his journey as an art therapist working in juvenile detention centers in Wisconsin and Virginia. Experiences as a parent with young children having complications from severe allergies and asthma eventually led Geo to deepen his studies in East Asian Medicine (Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine) in an effort to fill in the gaps from inadequate pediatric care. During this time Geo would continue to work as an art therapist in adult inpatient acute psychiatric care at Washington Adventist Hospital and it was in these community and clinic settings that the integrative healing arts work that started it all.
